Lifes a Ferris Wheel

Two and a half months ago we got married and sealed in the Oakland, California Temple and I could not be happier. Married life is so exciting and a major adventure. It is such a blessing to know that I am married to a man that makes me a better person and basically completes me, not just for time, but for all eternity! That's right, no "'till death do us part!" We will never really leave eachothers side and I am so grateful for that because I truly have no clue what I would do without this amazing man by my side for eternity. In fact, I don't think I would want to exist for eternity without him. Our wedding day was just a miracle and so amazing. Our reception was so much fun and we loved everything about our special day. We wouldn't have had it any other way.
(So many thanks to Scott's cousin Diana Nye for the amazing woman she is and the beautiful pictures she took and Liz Grahm for helping with our reception and making it something we and our guests will never forget!)....

I Love You More!

Relationship rivalry: such a funny thing! Scott and I have fun play fighting and joking around With each other! It is quite silly how we tease and play around but we entertain ourselves all the while. One way we tease one another is by saying, "I love you more!" I started out hating when my Scotty would say that but I realized he only said it because he knows it makes me squirm, so I started to say it myself and I realized it made him squirm! We promised eachother that we would never say it again to eachother because we know one doesn't love the other more than the other. Because of this promise Scott will now start to say, "I love you more," and will add, "more and more each day!" just so he can still say it but have an excuse when I start to squirm! He is a silly boy and my stud muffin! I love him so much, and he knows it! Love is incredible! I hope everyone will find someone as incredible as my Scotty for themselves because the world would be a heck of a better place if everyone was as happy as me!

is this water sanitary?

It looks questionable to me!
That has to be one of my favorite quotes in the whole world. I was just thinking and if we look back at this quote throughout our lives we can definitely make a lot of decisions a lot easier by just asking this simple question. Of course the adorable, baby elephant didn't know he was making such a profound statement when he was afraid of that river water in Africa, but it sure helps me. Right now the waters I am wadding in our most certainly sanitary and no Paranas  are going to bite me in my bum. But just think, if you look at a situation and it is questionable to you, It might just not be safe to test those waters..... just some food for thought... and a brag of how happy I am.

start of something new

Scott and I are getting married on 5.7.11 and we cannot contain our excitement. The last few months have been busy with planning and fun along the way. We registered at Bed Bath and Beyond and Target. We had his dad do our engagement pictures at Knights Ferry and we love how they turned out. I made our announcements online and our temple invite inserts along with them. The inserts have already arrived and we are just waiting for the announcements and envelopes to come. I have designed my wedding to my liking and I am super over joyed with everything I have created for it. Everything is perfectly "Katie". My dress came the other day and it is just simply gorgeous, which is why I have tried it on about a billion and one times. To say the least I am quite pleased. We have so much done already, so much to do, and the day keeps getting closer and closer and closer! It's actually quite surreal. Altogether we just can not wait to begin our happily forever after, together... loving recklessly abandoned!
